All Access: the real benefit is peace of mind

It's been almost a year since we released IDM All Access - the software subscription that provides uninterrupted, unimpeded access to every application we have. And we couldn't be more pleased with the response! Many of you have taken advantage of this license and have been enjoying the freedom it provides for months now.

I own a few subscription licenses myself, and one of the things I greatly appreciate is the no-hassle nature inherent to subscription. I never have to worry about if I'm up-to-date, or whether I'm eligible for the latest updates, or if I need to pay full price or upgrade price, etc... The assurance that subscription provides is that I get it all, and I never have to wonder if I'm missing out anything.

That's part of the huge value of IDM All Access. While Rich spoke to several other benefits of IDM All Access earlier this year (and each of those is valid in its own right), there's just no beating the peace of mind that subscription provides. For my most essential development tools and applications, I want need to be up to date and know that I'm up to date, and I need that process to be as smooth as silk and without interruption to my daily workflow. And that's exactly what IDM All Access aims to provide.

If you've been considering All Access but haven't yet taken the plunge, take advantage of the holiday offer before it expires! There's never been a better time to enjoy the freedom.

Ultra Compare
Reply #1 on : Tue December 08, 2015, 12:11:34
This sounds like a great deal!
Currently I have Ultra Compare that I have had for about 3 years which comes in handy for doing large file compares but I haven't renewed it because I don't use it too often and my company didn't pay for it so I bought it on my own.

I helped you improve the product several years ago and pointed out some of the quirks so that I could do the compares I needed.

If I bought this special, does that mean I will not have any access to it after the 1-year is up if I do not renew or will it be the same as today in that I just don't get upgrades. (Note: I have never used any of the other products)

Thanks,
Mike St. Clair

That is, can we renew early and get the great rate? Or is this just for new All Access customers?

Holiday special, only for the first year, right?

The Holiday special pricing, that price is only for this year, correct? After which time, the price will bump back up to $99, right?

Hey everyone! Thanks for the comments/questions. Answers below:

@Cathy, since IDM All Access is a subscription product, the annual renewal of the license is necessary to maintain the license.

@Mike, this offer was sent out exclusively to our existing customer base. As an existing customer, you can take advantage of the offer.

@Xochitl, correct. The discount is for this year's purchase; next year it will renew at the standard rate.

Thanks,

Ben

Lifetime License versus subscription
Reply #6 on : Tue December 15, 2015, 09:23:07
Hello,

I have a lifetime license for UltraEdit. If I go the All Access subscription route, what credit do I get for my lifetime license?
